Day 1 CAIRO

Arrival in Cairo. Welcome and transfer to hotel. Overnight. 

Day 2 SAKKARA / MEMPHIS / GIZA

Departure from hotel to Memphis first capital of Pharaonic Egypt and Sakkara, the most important necropolis of Memphis, where the Djoser pyramids is. Discover of Guiza pyramids Kheops, Khephren, Mykerinos and at their foot, the Sphinx. Overnight. 

Day 3 CAIRO

AM : visit of National museum of Egyptian Antiques where you will be able to admire the Tut ankh amon treasure. Discovery of Islamic Cairo with Mohamed Ali’s mosque, fully built with albatra  in the middle of Saladin’s citadel. Time at leisure in Khan El Khalili souk.  Sound and light show of Giza (optional). Overnight. 

Day 4 CAIRO / ALEXANDRIA / CAIRO

Full day excursion to Alexandria. Back to Cairo late afternoon. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 5 CAIRO / FAYOUM / MINYEH

Departure for Minyeh via Fayoum oasis. Arrival late afternoon. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 6 MINYEH / ASSIUT

Visit of Tell and Armana, then proceed to Assiut. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 7 ASSIUT / ABYDOS / DENDERAH / LUXOR

Early morning, departure for Luxor. On the way, visit of Abydos and Denderah. Arrival in Luxor late afternoon. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 8 LUXOR

Day in Luxor to visit the two famous temples, world-wide known, of Luxor and Karnak by bicycle. Sound and light show of Karnak (optional). Overnight in hotel. 

Day 9  LUXOR

Visit of Thebes Necropolis : Valley of the Kings, Hatchepsout temple, and Memnon columns. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 10 LUXOR

Day at leisure. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 11 LUXOR / ASWAN

            Early morning departure for Aswan by road. On the way, visit of Kom Ombo temple and Edfu temple. Arrival late afternoon in Aswan. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 12 ASWAN / PHILAE

            Visit of Unfinished Obelisk, High Dam et Philae temple. Possibility of visiting Nubian village (optional). Overnight in hotel.

Day 13  ASWAN / CAIRO

Morning at leisure. Possibility of going to Abu Simbel – optional. At the end of afternoon, transfer to the station and departure to Cairo by night train (seat). Overnight on board. 

Day 14 CAIRO

Arrival in Cairo and transfer to hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in hotel.           

Day 15 CAIRO

Transfer to airport for final departure.
