Day 1 CAIRO

Arrival in Cairo. Welcome and transfer to hotel. Overnight. 

Day 2 CAIRO

AM : visit of National museum of Egyptian Antiques where you will be able to admire the Tut ankh amon treasure. Discovery of Islamic Cairo with Mohamed Ali’s mosque, fully built with albatra  in the middle of Saladin’s citadel. Time at leisure in Khan El Khalili souk.  Sound and light show of Giza (optional). Overnight 

Day 3  SAKKARA / MEMPHIS / GIZA

Departure from hotel to Memphis first capital of Pharaonic Egypt and Sakkara, the most important necropolis of Memphis, where the Djoser pyramids is. Stop in the countryside. Discover of Guiza pyramids Kheops, Khephren, Mykerinos and at their foot, the Sphinx. Overnight.

Day 4 CAIRO / BAHARIYAH

Departure for Bahariyah oasis. Arrival late afternoon. Camp installation in Bir Talaat area. Overnight in camp site. 

Day 5 BAHARIYAH

Departure for Tahkima (roman natural water sources) to have bath. Back on foot to the camp late afternoon. Overnight in camp site. 

Day 6 BAHARIYAH / FARAFRAH

Departure for Farafrah (3 or 4h drive) and installation in a camp in White Desert. Overnight in camp site. 

Day 7 FARAFRAH / DAKHLAH

Departure for Dakhlam. Just before departure, visit of the typical museum “Badr” in the desert. Arrival in Dakhlah (4 or 5h drive). Visit of “El Kasr”, known for its potteries, old houses and then, drive to Mout camp close by Hot Water thermal sources. Overnight in camp site. 

Day 8 DAKHLAH / KHARGAH

Departure for Khargah. On the way, before leaving Dakhlah, visit of Mout museum  and then drive to Khargah (2 or 3 h drive). Arrival in Khargah, installation in the camp close by natual sources. Overnight in camp site. 

Day 9 KHARGAH

AM : visit of Copt tombs and Hibis temple. PM : possibility of swimming in natural source. Overnight in camp site. 

Day 10 KHARGAH  / LUXOR

Early morning, departure for Luxor ( 5 or 6 h drive).  Arrival in Luxor in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 11 LUXOR

Day at leisure and visit of the two famous temples, world-wide known, of Luxor and Karnak by bicycle. Sound and light show of Karnak (optional). Overnight in hotel. 

Day 12 LUXOR

AM : visit of Thebes Necropolis : Valley of the Kings, Hatchepsout temple, and Memnon columns. PM : at leisure. Overnight in hotel.  

Day 13 LUXOR / CAIRO

Day at leisure. At the end of the day, transfer to the station and night in the train for Cairo. 

Day 14 CAIRO

Arrival in Cairo, transfer to hotel. PM : at leisure. Overnight in hotel.

Day 15  CAIRO

Transfer to airport for final departure.
